Forum Thread: Yum or Yuck? Avocado Pound Cake

I think this could be an interesting flavor for a cake. Avocado is naturally fatty and creamy, so it could be a great way to make a cake extra moist.

Maybe it's like zucchini or carrot cake. sounds savory, tastes sweet.

i think the avocado acts more as a butter (flavor carrier) than a flavor itself. 

i imagine this tastes like sugar. 

yeah, probably so. it does say you can taste a hint of avocado i think.. which i'm curious about.
